I have a Palm Pre (which if you have to ask, has great form factor, a horrible battery life, and an anemic app store). I live on my 3-lb Macbook Air (which has given me no end of tech problems: 2x on the hard drive, 2x on sound, 1x on the touchpad, 1x hinge problem, and 1x on keyboard but that was my fault since I spilled coffee on it, though just a little bit).
I back things up using Time Capsule (this has saved me many a time, but be sure to keep your serial numbers). I love Apple’s Keynote presentation software. I have an Amazon Kindle 2, but could be convinced to switch. (Thinking about getting an iPad, despite its horrible name).
I love going to the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah with friends because it’s one of the few things that will draw people together from all over the country. No, unlike Cannes, you don’t have to be invited. You can just show up if you have tickets, which you can obtain through a painful lottery process or through sheer force of will on the wait-list.
I shop at Ann Taylor LOFT (why is it in caps?) because it has a great combo of cost, style and professionalism. I like Philosophy skin care products, but find their soaps etc. overpriced. I buy make-up and stuff but once a year. I hate high heels as I have flat feet.
I have traveled by train from Beijing to London, bringing along my purple hippo named Hubba Bubba. I can sleep on planes because I can tuck my feet into the seat-back pocket.
