I have a Palm Pre (which if you have to ask, has great form fac­tor, a hor­ri­ble bat­tery life, and an ane­mic app store). I live on my 3-lb Mac­book Air (which has given me no end of tech prob­lems: 2x on the hard drive, 2x on sound, 1x on the touch­pad, 1x hinge problem,and 1x on key­board but that was my fault since I spilled cof­fee on it, though just a lit­tle bit).

I back things up using Time Cap­sule (this has saved me many a time, but be sure to keep your ser­ial num­bers). I love Apple’s Keynote pre­sen­ta­tion soft­ware. I have an Ama­zon Kin­dle 2, but could be con­vinced to switch. (Think­ing about get­ting an iPad, despite its hor­ri­ble name).

I love going to the Sun­dance Film Fes­ti­val in Park City, Utah with friends because it’s one of the few things that will draw peo­ple together from all over the coun­try. No, unlike Cannes, you don’t have to be invited. You can just show up if you have tick­ets, which you can obtain through a painful lot­tery process or through sheer force of will on the wait-list.

I shop at Ann Tay­lor LOFT (why is it in caps?) because it has a great combo of cost, style and pro­fes­sion­al­ism. I like Phi­los­o­phy skin care prod­ucts, but find their soaps etc. over­priced. I buy make-up and stuff but once a year. I hate high heels as I have flat feet.

I have trav­eled by train from Bei­jing to Lon­don, bring­ing along my pur­ple hippo named Hubba Bubba. I can sleep on planes because I can tuck my feet into the seat-back pocket.
